What Parameters Are Necessary for UPSC Exams?

Prior to submitting the UPSC application, it is crucial to verify your credentials in order to prevent last-stage disqualification.
Age is the first Eligibility criterion; applicants must understand this before applying for UPSC. The age should be a minimum be 21 years old and the maximum is 32 years old. If an applicant falls into a category of Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe, then the upper age restriction specified in the UPSC Alerts may be relaxed for up to five years. The maximum age to sit for the UPSC Exam is 35 years old, with a 3-year relaxation for OBC candidates.
Candidates should be citizens of India, Bhutan, and Nepal and if they are Tibetan Refugees should be settled in India from 1962 in the Nationality part. If students are applying after getting their final degree or while waiting for their medical degree, they must meet the UPSC’s requirement that they hold a graduate degree from an accredited government university. Each candidate is only permitted to take the UPSC Exam a fixed number of times.
Candidates for the general category are given a total of 6 chances with a 32-year-old age limit, while those in the OBC category are given 9 chances up to 35 years of age. Applicants from the SC and ST category are allowed an endless amount of retakes up until the age of 37, while Ex-Servicemen and Benchmark Disability-EWS/Disabled Defense Services Personnel are allowed nine retakes up until the age of 42.
